OUR STATION

Work is currently underway on the hardware configuration, so this was the most effective mobility-base(d) solution. We turn to you with enquiry about adequate equipment for our expeditionary cars that allow us to communicate during the Transylvania 4x4 TOUR.
After many studies and capability tests, we selected the following as the most optimal configuration:

• TX-RX HF+UHF: YAESU FT-857D
• APRS: Kenwood TM-D700 or D710
• Antenna Mobile: ATAS1-100 or ATAS-120
• Automatic Tuner: LDG Z100 or other
• Base Antenna: Pro Whip Antennas - Pro Whip 160-6m
• Accessories: Battery OPTIMA or other Gel Battery

In return for sponsorship of the expedition radio, we will not only offer free advertising of your business on the materials that participants of the expedition will receive, but will also recommend your company to all of those who will liaise with our station. We also offer to advertise your company by:

• Providing a sticker with the company logo on for any 4x4 vehicle participating in the event (of which there are approximately 50 vehicles).
• Using the sponsor's logo on all starting materials for the event (such as road books and road information, etc).
• Informing all participants of who is a sponsor of the expedition during every broadcast.
• Publishing your information and contact details as a sponsor on our website www.transylvania.4x4zone.co.uk
• Placing your company logo/information on the QSL cards.
• Providing information about your sponsorship in press reports.
