CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
To ensure a start on the “Vampire4x4Tours”, you need to complete the Booking Form & Rules and send it to the organiser. Confirmation of reservation will generally be within 14 working days. Along with the application, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This advance secures the costs associated with the reservation of hotels, campsites, museum entry and other expenses. Subject to forfeit and tour cancellation, the remaining 50% balance of the booking fee must be paid no later than 1st July 2011. This is the absolute deadline.
Groups in which the child will be under 12 years, please confirm this in the Booking form.
BOOKING FORM
BOOKING FEE:
£720.00 per vehicle (including driver & co-driver).
£198.00 per adult passenger. This fee entitles each passenger all the entitlements enjoyed by the driver & co-driver (accommodation, entry fees to attractions, etc.) Passengers are required to comply with safety rules and regulations on the same basis as the rest of the crew.
Children under 12 years (upon commencement of tour) free.
ENTITLEMENTS:
- Start of one vehicle with the basic assumption (1 driver + 1 co-driver).
- Road-book with a description of the entire route. The route is divided into 7 days. It is a proven and award-winning route travelled by the organisers.
- Maps of the area supplied where applicable (i.e. difficult sections).
- Sheets of special tasks.
- Charges for accommodation in hotels and guesthouses on the route.
- Charges for accommodation at campsites.
- Barbeque on fourth day of the tour.
- Restaurant lunch at end of the tour.
- Tickets to a cave visit.
- Tickets to the castles in Poeinari and Bran.
- Additional gifts.
- Welcome ‘surprise goody pack’.
- 15% off ALL purchases in Blacks and Millets stores nationwide (this discount is on top of sale prices!)
CLIENT’S EXPENSES:
Cost of the Norfolkline/DFDS Seaways ferries Dover-Dunkirk-Dover (in 2011 it was about £24.00), fuel, accommodation on the route directions and return, food. Hotels are provided every other day of the tour. This gives the possibility of use for showers and baths after a night in a tent.
DISCOUNTS:
Participants in previous editions of the Vampire4x4Tours will receive equivalent of 9% discount of the registration fee and/or additional crew members.
Group discount (min 5 cars) in the amount of an additional 8% discount of the registration fees.

Conceived as a low-budget event, the main purpose of Vampire4x4Tours was to show 4×4 and travel enthusiasts the beauty of the Carpathians and Transylvania; this is still as relevant today as it was seven years ago. Whilst admittedly the tour price has risen from previous years, it still includes all fees associated with participation – accommodation, tickets for admission, some refreshment. In essence, this means the outlay by our clients is a much lower than other tour organisers. Plus, through our experience and knowledge of the cultures of Eastern Europe, we provide more fun, sights and unforgettable experiences than anyone else.
Vampire4x4Tours is owned and operated by Martin Burzynski, a resident in England for over 6 years. This is an important fact, for not only is your tour guide ‘multi-lingual’, he is also ‘multi-cultural’. This is essential when touring abroad, especially Eastern Europe. As stated elsewhere within this site, Eastern Europe is totally safe and secure if you know the customs and ways of the countries you’re visiting. Not every tour operator can say the same.
